13 General Assembly Members Endorse Qasim Rashid for Congress

STAFFORD, VA – Today, 13 members of the General Assembly endorsed Qasim Rashid’s campaign for Congress in Virginia’s First Congressional District. The list includes:

Rashid was grateful. “I’m grateful to have the support of so many friends and allies in the fight for a better Virginia,” he said. “United, we can close the distance between our promise and our potential.”

On Monday, Qasim Rashid was endorsed by 21 local elected officials and community leaders throughout the First District. 

Rashid will compete in the general election against independent Shawn Ponterio and incumbent Republican Congressman Rob Wittman on November 3.
